Owen, my 11-year-old black Lab, was the inspiration behind My Pet Boutique Inc. He was adopted from the Humane Society when he was 6 months old after being found at the side of a busy highway. He had a distinct personality and always brought a smile to my face, no matter how bad a day I had. I love him dearly and liked to pamper him. He was very supportive of our new adventure and liked to sample the products!
Finding it difficult to find quality products that were both unique and fun, I launched myPetBoutique.com in 2001. In 2004, I found the perfect location in Yorkville and our retail location was established. I wanted to have a store where people could shop for the furry loved one in their life, a place where they could find products to pamper their pet. I also wanted to showcase products for the home that were well designed. My Pet Boutique Inc. is a perpetual project in motion dedicated to everyone who loves their pet.
